Junior Research Fellow in Forest Management and Forest Industry

Portuguese Junior researcher, doing my PhD in Forestry at EMÜ. My research specializes in Wood Anatomy, focusing on xylogenesis in Scots Pine and Norway Spruce. With a background in Biology and Ecology, my work now focuses on processing collected microcores in the lab to find critical dates and understand the timing and seasonal dynamics of wood formation in these species under drought compared to typical conditions.
