The focus of my research is the biogeochemistry and ecology of lakes and rivers. I have participated for more than 10 years in projects studying carbon, phosphorus and nitrogen cycles in lakes. I was also involved in the state monitoring program for small lakes and in projects evaluating the ecological status of lakes for 7 years. In 2022–2024, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA) in Spain.
